Abstract Thought Space - 3D model

Image
Good afternoon folks, here is the third and final environment fully modeled: the abstract thought space. This is where the film's climax occurs, as Gem faces off against her oppressive foe. With all of these sets 3D modeled, I am onto my first pass at 2D animation! I'm very excited to mix 3D and 2D in this way.

Good afternoon, folks! I wanted to show you all the 3D modeled bedroom I have created in Cinema 4D for my film. My project will consist of 2D animated characters in 3D modeled environments. This is environment #1, the bedroom that the protagonist lives in. It's based on my own bedroom. The first photo is what the environment looks like in the default renderer, the second one is what it looks like with a rudimentary cel-renderer.

Production Blog - Introduction!

Hi everyone! Welcome to my official production blog for my senior capstone! This is where I will document weekly updates and share my process for the making of my upcoming short film: What's in a Memory? To summarize, it's about a girl who has to escape a cult for magic users after enduring complex trauma from the evil cult leader. My beloved girl, who's named Gem, has to face her past in order to overcome it. I'd like to think of this film as an extension of myself something I'm very passionate about. To begin, I'll show you what Gem looks like. See you soon!
